Our home has a small porch and I have been

searching for a cute little bench to add to it.

I haven't had much luck, but one evening

my father in law told me his neighbor had put one

in the alley with his trash and to come look at it.

Nate and I were so excited and made sure they were

throwing it out and to see if we could take it off their hands.

We took it home and over the labor day weekend we went

to work sanding, re-screwing the loose bolts,

and then spray painting. Here is the outcome...

It sure adds to the look of our home.

I love it! It cost around $8.00 after sand paper and spray paint.

Not too bad! ;-)

This Saturday, September 17, marks 2 years of being in our home.

I can't believe how fast it has come.
